So today I thought of something after thinking about the poor freshman girl who had to do a french horn solo because Margaret didn't show up...
I think I want to switch to french horn.
Jonathan would kill me, and show would Elizabeth, Maggie, and esp Squeak... and I would feel like I was betraying the trumpet section and missing out on some serious fun that goes on back there sometimes...
However, everyone can admit french horns need some major help... my current trumpet situation sucks... and L has been trying to convince me on and off to switch since the 7th grade. I could definitely cut him a deal where I still get to play trumpet during pep band and marching band... because that's really the fun part of being in the trumpet section. Plus I'm going to be in the crappy band away from the cool cats anyways...
Plus I can get away from Dorothy. :)
I can always go back if I decide I don't like it.

Kristen and I came up with an awesome idea:
we're going to make Aya a DVD of pictures, movies, etc. of us, her, and other stuff over the past year!
Soooo, if any of your moms have pictures from marching band or something (we have none of that, and obviously that was a new experience for her)... or any random pictures with Aya in them or friends, please send me. (that I didn't take, obviously)
btw, it's going to be a suprise, don't tell her.
I'm hoping to get my new and better camera soon, so you might be seeing me carry it around a lot for the remainder of the school year, so we can have a good collection for the video.
